The St. Augustine Humane Society winning pets and owners of the 2012 “Pin Up Paws” pet calendar fundraiser:

First Place Winner, Riley

The trio, and nine others, will grace the Humane Society’s 2012 calendar, which goes on sale for $10 each at the Hoots N Howls event on October 22, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m at St. Francis Field on Castillo Drive, in downtown St. Augustine. For more information, visit the event website at www.hootsnhowls.com.

Calendars will also be on sale at the Humane Society, 1665 Moultrie Road in St. Augustine. All proceeds from submissions and vote donations, and sales will benefit the programs and services of the St. Augustine Humane Society.

The voting, which began in July, has already netted $8,000 toward the prevention of pet over-population.
